

The 24 Hour Charity Dinghy Race helps raise money for local charities across Hong Kong and provides support for people in need throughout the community. First raced at Hebe Haven Yacht Club in 2002, the event has already raised more than 13.4 million for local charities. Children’s Cancer Foundation
兒童癌病基金

CCF established in 1989, through the best possible holistic care approach, it aims to improve the quality of life for young cancer patients and their families in caring for their physical, psychological and social well-being. We also help doctors to improve survival rate of children with cancer through sponsoring expensive drugs, diagnostic tests and research.
Right from when children are diagnosed with cancer,
- Child Life Service – to enhance the psychosocial functioning of the patients and their families, helping patients to understand their illnesses and treatment plans and preparing them for the treatment procedures.
- Family Counselling – helping the patients and their families to cope with the changes and difficulties brought about by the illnesses through counselling and other supporting services.
- Financial Assistance – we sponsor prosthetic limbs, travelling expenses, emergency funds and also provide half-way homes and rehabilitation bus service to families in need.
- Community Service – we help survivors to ease back into the community through transitional education and potential development programmes, helping them to cultivate interests and explore their strengths and potentials.
- Children’s Palliative Care Foundation – our team of nurse specialists and social workers helps young and adolescent patients with life-limiting and life-threatening illness relieving their distressing physical symptoms, providing 24/7 end-of-life care and also providing bereavement care for parents after the passing of the child.

This year marks the 35th anniversary of CCF Various events will be organised on this special occasion to celebrate the achievement of CCF over the past 35 years and raise public awareness to support our young patients suffering from cancer or facing life-threatening conditions, as well as their families.


TREATS 親切

Established in 1979, TREATS is a registered charity and a non-governmental organization in Hong Kong. We are also a member of the Community Chest of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service. Through TREATS’ social inclusion programmes, children and youth of all abilities and backgrounds join hands together, learn to appreciate diversity and unleash their potential. Annually, around 158,500 children and teenagers benefited from TREATS’ inclusive services on average.
TREATS targets all children and youth, especially those:
- With mental, physical, emotional or social challenges
- With multiple challenges and learning disabilities
- From ethnic minorities
- From families living in poverty
TREATS Sailing for ALL project and programmes benefit teenagers with special needs to learn and experience inclusive sailing with the mainstream people in Hong Kong. The project and programmes build confidence, social skills and problem-solving skills and breaks down social barriers for people of all abilities and backgrounds. Donation will be utilized to provide inclusive sailing experiences especially advanced training for teenagers with special needs, enabling them to further develop their potential through sailing.


IDEAL 勵志協進會
(The Intellectually Disabled and Advocacy League)

Works actively for people with intellectual disabilities. IDEAL is a member of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, the Hong Kong Sports Association for Persons with Intellectual Disability and the Agency for Volunteer Service as well as being a supporting organisation of the Life Care Movement.
Donations raised are used to subsidise projects to enhance both physical and intellectual development of our members and render physical and emotional support to their families or caregivers. Programs include physical exercise training, dancing, yoga, arts lessons, outing, visits and community service. Details can be found on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/ideal.org.hk/. The aim is to establish our members’ self-esteem and prepare them to integrate into the community.


Sailability Hong Kong Limited 香港航能

With its home at Hebe Haven Yacht Club, Sailability Hong Kong Limited was founded in 2009 to provide the opportunity for anyone with a physical disability, special educational needs or on the autistic spectrum to learn to sail or have a water-based experience. Whether aged 7 or 90+, Sailability believes that sailing increases communication, self-confidence, independence, responsibility and self-esteem whilst learning and having fun. The charity currently provides a wide range of bilingual sailing programmes that offer a safe environment for people of all abilities, the under-represented and seniors from across Hong Kong.


Sai Kung District Community Centre
西貢區社區中心

Sai Kung District Community Centre (SKDCC) was established in 1970. Over 50 years, Sai Kung District Community Centre has been wholeheartedly devoted in the provision of services in the community. Sai Kung District Community Centre is vigorously promoting livelihood support and building a support network in rural area. With our service mission being “connect and mobilize community resources to love and care our folks and nature across Sai Kung”, we establish a unique rural service model aiming to reduce the uneven distribution of resources between urban and rural areas, so that rural lives can be preserved and a win-win society as well created. We are eager to build a happy and livable community for Sai Kung residents.
